If your primary goal is clear facial detail and real-time movement, the window between 26 and 32 weeks is widely considered the sweet spot for 4D and HD imaging. At this stage, baby has filled out enough to show definition in the face while still having room to move and stretch. Earlier visits, from 15 to 22 weeks, are excellent for full body views, gender determination, and watching those early movements. Later visits can still produce beautiful images depending on position and fluid levels.
